Damjan Zabovnik started his recumbent-bike life-style in 1989. He rides mostly recumbents since year 1994. It's reasonable, because recumbent bikes have many advantages and all world human land speed records are set with recumbents.

Damjan Zabovnik participated at many races in Slovenia, also uphill. He won two races in 2001 with fairing-equipped model Voyage. These races were Maraton Franja and Maraton Treh Src. He also travelled a lot with recumbent bike through Europe– especially Alp's passes. He inspired some friends for journeys too.
